Planting Up the Peace Garden – The Grange, Southam

Director John Farey has been supporting Southam in Bloom through practical volunteering at the Peace Garden, located at The Grange in Southam, as well as helping maintain and improve other community planters around the town.

The work has included planting seasonal bedding, preparing planting areas, removing weeds and tackling established tree roots that had grown into the Coventry Road planter.

These activities contribute to the ongoing efforts of Southam in Bloom to maintain attractive, colourful and welcoming public spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.

With extensive experience in gardening and grounds maintenance, John has been able to put his skills to practical use while working alongside other local volunteers.

It's another example of how volunteering, sharing skills and working together can make a positive difference to Southam's community environment.
